In September, the officials had served notices on establishments, including apartments in Ghumar Mandi; Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College; Punjab Agricultural University (PAU); Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (Gadvasu); Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College and Hospital; ATI institute; ITI institute; CMC Hospital; DMC Hospital; SPS hospital; Fortis hospital; Mohan Dai Oswal hospital; ESI hospital; Deepak hospital; Civil hospital Ludhiana; Krishna Charitable hospital; Pahwa hospital; Deep hospital and Guru Teg Bahadur charitable hospital. Earlier Mandi Board was also served the notice.
Medical officer health of MC Dr Vipul Malhotra said, “Those who were served notices are bound to pay the penalty amount and make necessary arrangements at their premises for settling the waste.
