In Ranchi, the inauguration process of the library began on September 9 and it was inaugurated in Government Middle School, Kantatoli, on Tuesday.
Talking to TOI, Kamal Mishra, programme associate of Room to Read, said, “Early learners require the formation of a learning habit. They should be encouraged to learn and be self-directed students. For this, it is necessary to cultivate their interest. For this reason, we have created engaging books and study materials for children which do not have much text but more illustrations to make it easier for them to comprehend. They will also be permitted to take the book home.”
