IGL shares rise 0.24% as Sensex slides

Shares of the . traded at Rs 377.2 on BSE at 11:42AM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.24 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 322.1 and a high of Rs 514.8.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 20,535 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:42AM (IST).

The stock of Indraprastha Gas Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 26320.03 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 15.43, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 3.44. Return on equity (ROE) was at 19.8 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 235 stocks traded in the green, while 266 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 45.0 per cent in the Indraprastha Gas Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2022 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 20.34 per cent and 16.79 per cent, respectively.
