Gurugram: MCG to hire a private firm for signboards on road info

GURUGRAM: MCG is going to hire a private agency to install signboards on the roads which are under the civic body’s jurisdiction. The project cost is Rs 60 lakh. The civic body has already installed 40 boards on 20 MCG roads. The signboards mention the road assets ID and a helpline number for the residents to contact the agency in case of a complaint.
The MCG officials said that they have identified nearly 500 roads, which come under their jurisdiction. They have so far covered 20 roads including Pataudi road entrance in Sector 10, Sadar Bazar road, MG road, Sector 15 underpass road, ITI college road etc.
