2 women die as soil mound caves in

Prayagraj: Two women were killed and one another sustained injuries when the mound of soil caved in and fell on them near Deoriha Pipraha village under the limits of Ghurpur police station in trans-Yamuna pocket here on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased have been identified as Ram Samari Devi (60) and Shasikali Devi (32), both residents of Deoriha Pipraha village.
Injured girl identified as Neha (16) was admitted at a hospital. Ghurpur police said that the incident took place when a group of three women had gone to dig soil for plaster purpose of house near the village and the mound of soil all of a sudden caved in and fell on them. Hearing cries, locals rushed the spotbut failed to save the lives of two women. tnn
