Ahmedabad: Flour miller cheated of Rs 17.5 lakh

AHMEDABAD: A resident of Vastral Road filed a complaint for cheating and breach of trust against two unidentified persons who stole Rs 17.50 lakh cash from him after promising to double the money with a religious ritual. Suresh Chavda, 53, a flour miller from Amraiwadi, filed a complaint with Isanpur police. As a part of the ritual, the duo told him to keep his eyes closed till further instructions. They then fled with his money.
