Thane: Diwali gifts for the underprivileged

THANE: On the occasion of Diwali, the Rotary Club of Thane Central organized a special event called Maherchi Saree.
Under this unique initiative, the club distributed new sarees to around 200 people including transgenders, vegetable vendors and cleaning women. Neha Nimbalkar, former president was supported by the current president, Madhavi Dole, with this initiative.
