The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported on Tuesday that two people, including the pilot and a passenger, died in a small plane crash that happened in the morning in the parking lot of a car dealership in Marietta, Ohio.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane (the twin-engine Beechcraft BE9L) was only carrying the pilot and one other passenger.

IRNA said the F-5 fighter crashed into a stadium in a residential area of Tabriz, a city of 1.6 million residents. Authorities are investigating the incident, the report said.



Marietta police reported that the plane accident that took place at the Pioneer Buick GMA dealership started a fire that took about 30 minutes to be put out. The police added that they didn't think there were any other injuries to the people on the ground.The city of Marietta is situated in southeast Ohio, close to the West Virginia border. People observed fire and smoke at the scene of the plane crash at Summers car dealership in Marietta, Ohio.
