Thane: Man held for raping 12-year-old girl in Kalyan

KALYAN: A 41-year-old man has been arrested for the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl in Kalyan.
The girl was playing outside her home when the accused lured her and took her inside his home where he allegedly raped her. He also threatened her not to reveal it to anyone.
The survivor later complained about pain in the abdomen and when her mother enquired, she revealed the trauma which she went through.
The victim's mother later complained to local Bazarpeth police who filed rape and POCSO-related charges and arrested the accused.
