BELAGAVI: The
BJP will win over 150 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections in Karnataka, said state BJP in-charge
Arun Singh in Chikkodi. He was in the town as part of his two-day visit to Belagavi.
On Monday, he chaired meeting with Chikkodi division party workers and later took part in Sanklapa Yatra at Keshav Kalabhavan in Chikkodi.
“BJP won in Manipur, Uttar Pradesh and other states and we will continue our victory journey in Karnataka by winning 150 seats,” he said.
“Bharat is already united, but Congress is undertaking the Bharat Jodo yatra as a political stunt. I wish Congress unites their party first. It is a jodo yatra of DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah,” he said.
“People of Karnataka have liked the pro-public works of our Prime Minister
Narendra Modi and the Bommai government. With this, we have given a responsibility of winning Chikkodi and Sadalaga constituencies in the election to former deputy chief minister Laxman Savadi,” he said.
He expressed dissatisfaction about BJP MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal for speaking out against party leaders. He said Yatnal is just an MLA should be in his limits. Or else, he has to face disciplinary action, he added.
