Guwahati: Two boys of Arunachal Pradesh’s Anjaw district, who have been missing for 56 days since they headed towards the Chinese border in search of wild medicinal herbs, are suspected to have crossed over the imaginary McMahon Line that serves as the border between both the countries in the NE region.
SP (Anjaw) Rike Kamsi said he has alerted the Army, SIB and other agencies about the missing boys. “The families have reported about the missing boys on October 9. The two were heading towards the border to collect medicinal herbs. No one has seen where the boys have gone but we suspect that they might have unknowingly crossed the LAC,” Kamsi told TOI.
