Jaipur: After the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a lot of changes in people’s thinking and awareness about the need of mental health, said psychiatric experts from across the country gathered in the city for a national conference on Saturday. Emerging trends and challenges of treating mental health disorders, which have gone up during and in the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, were discussed by about 400 experts on the first day of the two-day 47th annual conference of Indian Psychiatry Society (North Zone). Doctors from hospitals run by the central and state governments and private companies shared their experiences related to the spike in mental disorders in recent years.
