Valpoi waterlogging: Rane tasks experts with analysing situation to ensure no repeat

Valpoi: Health minister and Valpoi MLA, Vishwajit Rane said that he has instructed officials of urban development to rectify the waterlogging problem faced by Valpoi residents on Friday, particularly in front of the community health centre, Valpoi.
“To ensure such circumstances do not reoccur, we will be assigning engineers and consultants to submit a report on the causes for the water logging along that particular stretch near the Valpoi community health centre so that preventive measures can be taken,” Rane said.
On Friday, following heavy rain, many roads in Sattari got submerged. Water had also entered houses and shops.
