Ranchi: ‘Hindi month’ organised by the Bank of India’s (BoI) Ranchi zone ended on Friday.
Various competitions on online banking, general knowledge, Hindi typing and e-mail writing, dictation and essay writing were organised as part of the month-long programme which began on September 14.
Zonal manager of BoI (Ranchi) Sanjay Kumar Khemka said the year, 2021-22, was encouraging for the BoI as it won the Rajbhasha Kriti Award, given by the Union home ministry, in the category of 800-plus employees. The official also launched an e-book, titled ‘Finacle 10- Ask to Rohit’, which discusses the work-related problems of bank employees. A seminar on ‘Role of Local Languages in Banking Services’, was also held during the event. TNN
