Rajasthan: 2 accidents claim 2 lives in Barmer

JAISALMER: Two persons died while two were injured in separate accidents in Barmer district on Friday.
In a mishap at Maliyon Ki Dhani Nagar village in RGT police station area of the district, a trailer and a car collided in which one out of 3 passengers died while two were seriously injured.
In another incident, a motorcycle collided with a Bolero in which the rider died.
According to RGT police, Mukan Singh (40), Ashok Singh (25) and Om Singh (45), residents of Jabra Pokaran in Jaisalmer district, left for Gujarat in a car on Friday morning. When they reached Maliyon Ki Dhani Nagar, a truck coming from the opposite direction hit the car in which Om Singh died on the spot.
The two injured were sent to Gudamalani hospital from where they were referred to Barmer.
In the second incident in Dhanau police station area, a biker died on the spot after his bike was hit by a SUV.
According to police, Rama Ram (23), a resident of Kekad Moti Beri, was going to meet his sister when the vehicle from the opposite direction hit the motorcycle near a petrol pump. The youth was rushed to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
