Girl rescued from apartment

Mangaluru: The Childline staff, along with officials of the district child protection unit, Kadri police and the labour department, rescued an eight-year-old girl child working in an apartment in Kodialbail on Friday. After being tipped off about a child working in an apartment, the officials rushed to the apartment and rescued her.
The rescued child hailing from Hassan, was produced before the district child welfare committee (CWC) for rehabilitation.
