The Bengaluru City police commissioner on Friday directed his officers to allow eateries to operate till 1am every day.
The directive follows a complaint from Bengaluru Hotels' Association that they were forced to shut by 11pm. A government order of June 25, 2016, had allowed the eateries to operate till 1am on all the days of the week.
