One of India’s richest industrialists, Mukesh Ambani, is back in the news. The 65-year-old business magnate recently visited the holy shrines at Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand.

The billionaire offered prayers and also donated a sum of Rs 5 crore to the temple committees. The industrialist was clicked performing puja at both the temples.
This is the third time this year that Ambani was spotted at a temple. On September 17, the business tycoon was seen offering prayers at the Guruvayur Shri Krishna Temple in Kerala. During his visit to the Kerala shrine, he was accompanied by son Anant's fiancee Radhika Merchant. Pictures of Ambani offering ghee in the inner sanctum of the temple along with his family had gone viral.

The Chairman and MD of Reliance industries was also seen making offerings to the elephants Chenthamarakshan and Balaraman at the temple. Ambani was dressed in traditional Malayali attire and was welcomed to the temple by the Guruvayur Devaswom Board Chairman Prof PK Vijayan. The billionaire was presented with a mural painting during his visit.

Ambani donated Rs 1.5 crore to the ancient temple during his visit. Dr Vijayan told mediapersons that after visiting the Guruvayur temple, the Reliance boss presented a cheque. He added that when he opened the envelope it had a cheque worth Rs 1.51 crore. The Guruvayur Devaswom Board Chairman said that it was the highest amount ever donated by a devotee to the temple.

Mukesh Ambani had also visited the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh on September 18. He was accompanied by Merchant and Reliance Retail Ltd Director Manoj Modi. The business tycoon also offered Rs 1.5 crore to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.

The 65-year-old said that the temple was improving and getting better with each passing year and this made all Indians proud. He told reporters that he came to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara for all.
