Boy on way to school run over by train

Kanpur: A class IXth student heading for school near Sarsaul railway station died after being hit by a train, on Thursday.
Rannvijay Yadav, a resident of Maharajpur Hathigaon, runs a dairy business.
His son Om Yadav (15) used to study in class IXth at a private school. Younger brother Piyush Yadav also goes to school with him.
On Thursday morning, both of them had left the home for school on a bike along with neighbour, Hari Shankar Yadav.
Due to waterlogging and slippery road in the culvert following rains, Hari Shankar, who was on the wheels, asked Om to get down from the vehicle and reach the other side of the railway tracks.
As soon as Om started crossing the railway tracks, he was hit by a speeding train coming from Fatehpur side.
After the incident, a crowd of locals gathered at the spot, who informed the police. The police later rushed to the spot and sent the body for postmortem. tnn
