Let Rutuja win unopposed, Udhav faction urges BJP, Team Shinde

After Thursday's HC order, the Uddhav faction urged BJP and the Shinde faction to let Rutuja Latke contest the bypolls unopposed.
MLC and ex-minister Anil Parab alleged that politics in Maharashtra had reached a new low but things could be reclaimed. "It is the convention in Maharashtra that if a family member of a deceased MLA is fighting the polls, that member is elected unopposed. It is not right to make a widow, who is trying to take forward the legacy and work of her late husband, ask for votes. I'm sure the CM and Dy CM will think about it," he said.
