4 test +ve for Covid-19

Ludhiana: Four persons tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday. A day before, two persons had tested positive.
Health officials said as no Covid-related death happened in Ludhiana on Thursday and the total number of deaths of the district till date were 3,017 whereas the number of deaths of outer districts/state in Ludhiana hospitals was 1,141.Health department said that till date 40.00.380 Covid tests had been done in the district. It added that four persons from Ludhiana and none from outer districts/states were found to be infected with virus here on Thursday.
The civil surgeon said till now 1,10,533 Covid-19 positive patients have recovered in Ludhiana that constitutes 97.33% of the total cases.
17 active cases in dist
Health officials said there were 17 active patients in the district at present. They added that on Thursday the number of samples taken was 2,076 of which 1,449 were done through RT PCR whereas 624 were done through Rapid Antigen Test and three through Trunat. tnn
