JAIPUR: A faction of resident doctors resumed duties on Thursday while their colleagues continued with their boycott of work, which they together began on October 6 in protest against the state government’s bond policy for doctors.
Resumption of duty by one faction of resident doctors happened after Wednesday’s talks with the state government. The agitating doctors said they had stopped working at emergency units, ICUs and trauma centres to intensify their protest. “We want our demands to be heard,” said Dr Neeraj Damor, president of Jaipur Association of Resident Doctors.
