PATNA: Seeing an unprecedented rise in dengue cases in the state, especially in Patna, deputy chief minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, wjho also holds the health department portfolio, on Thursday held a meeting with the health and urban development and housing department (UDHD) officials and stressed on the need to maintain cleanliness of the surroundings and proper medical help to the patients.
Tejashwi said the health department was on alert to control the spread of dengue and UDHD was ensuring anti-larvae fogging and sanitation work. He said the number of beds for dengue patients has been increased in government hospitals.
Tejashwi also made an appeal to the people to keep their surroundings clean.
