Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.53% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:55AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Godrej Properties(up 1.51 per cent), DLF(up 1.43 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 1.32 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.81 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.51 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 1.56 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.38 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.53 per cent at 425.7 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 261.8 points at 17276.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 946.07 points at 58181.4.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 49 were trading in the green, while 1 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato Ltd., , YES Bank, and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of , Annapurna Swadisht Ltd., , and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Debock Sales & Mktg, Tips Films Ltd., , and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
