PRAYAGRAJ: To promote Government of India’s flagship programme ‘Startup India’, the state-of-the-art incubation center ‘United Incubation Hub’ established at United Institute of Technology (UIT), Naini, Prayagraj was inaugurated on Wednesday.
Vice Chancellor (VC) of APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow and chief guest Prof Pradeep Kumar Mishra inaugurated the centre by cutting the ribbon in the presence of dignitaries. Later, addressing students during a programme at the auditorium, the chief guest praised the management for setting up a high-class incubation centre with advanced facilities and infrastructure to promote the flagship programme of Government of India.
UGI President and VC of United University (UU), Prayagraj Jagdish Gulati welcomed the chief guest by presenting him with a bouquet. He expressed his gratitude towards the VC for his maiden visit at the campus. Addressing students, Dr Gulati appealed to them to avail the benefit of the incubation centre at large.
CEO, Shivesh Gaur, United Incubation Hub presented a brief report on the establishment. He said besides providing physical incubation facilities, the hub will also be extending online incubation facilities to those living in remote areas so that they can also launch their startup. On the occasion, a programme ‘Local Startup Meet’ was also organised in collaboration with entrepreneurship-cell, IIT-Kharagpur and united incubation hub at the auditorium.
