Goa to host 9th World Ayurveda Congress & Arogya Expo from December 8 to 11

PANAJI: Goa will host 9th World Ayurveda Congress & Arogya Expo, a biggest event in traditional wellness system from December 8 to 11.
Organised by World Ayurveda Foundation, an initiative of Vijnana Bharti, the expo is expected to give a transformational push to ayurveda to bring it into global focus.
"Ayurveda for one health" is the focus theme of the December expo.
As a prelude to the World Ayurveda Congress, Sabarnanda Sonowal, Union ayush minister, chief minister Pramod Sawant, union minister of state for tourism Shripad Naik, health minister Vishwajit Rane and minister for art Govind Gaude attended the curtain raiser event held in Panaji on Thursday.
