Man shot at during clash in Dhanbad

Dhanbad: One person sustained gunshot injuries in a clash between supporters of two political leaders near Bansjora colliery weighbridge under Kenduadih police station limits in Dhanbad on Wednesday.
The injured, identified as Mukesh Turi (35), was taken to Ranchi’s Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in a critical condition. This is the second shoot-out at Bansjora colliery weighbridge of the CIL subsidiary Bharat Coking Coal Limited in the past three days. SDPO (law and order) Arvind Sinha said: “Prima facie, it seems to be a fight for control over coal lifting from the colliery. Raids are being conducted to nab other culprits on the basis of their statements.” Anil Ashutosh
