Assam: Flood situation remains grim in Dhemaji, over 15000 people affected

The flood situation in Dhemaji remains grim as the flood water submerged more areas under Jonai Sub-Division. Many villagers have left their homes and taken shelter in safer places. As per ASDMA, over 15,000 people have been affected due to the flood. The SDRF and district administration teams are engaged in rescue operations in the flood affected areas.
