Bengaluru: Nigerians fight over woman, 1 dies

BENGALURU: A 36-year-old Nigerian was murdered by his compatriot following a fight over a woman at Amrutahalli, off Ballari Road, on Monday evening. Both had come to the city on a business visa in 2018 and were overstaying.
The victim, K Solomon, and accused Obiora Victor had an argument over the latter's live-in partner at 6.30pm. Police said Victor repeatedly stabbed Solomon in the chest and neck.
"Victor was living with the woman for over three years. Solomon, from the same locality, often visited Victor and was trying to get close to the woman. She complained to Victor that Solomon had attempted to touch her inappropriately. On Monday, Victor abused Solomon and later stabbed him to death," an officer said.
