FIFA Women’s U-17 WC: ‘Girls will get huge opportunities in football’, says Anurag Thakur

Union Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Anurag Thakur attended the opening ceremony of the FIFA U-17 Women's Football World Cup India 2022 at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on October 11. “Under-17 Women's Football World Cup has started in Bhubaneswar and there is an ongoing match between India and US. This is a great platform where girls will get huge opportunities in football. Matches will be played from 11 October to 30 October,” he said.
