Madurai – Coimbatore train to be short-terminated at Podanur

MADURAI: Madurai – Coimbatore Express train operated via Palani will be short-terminated at Podanur junction on October 20 and also from October 31 to November 15. The changes are made due to maintenance work between Coimbatore and Podanur junctions.
No 16722 Madurai – Coimbatore Express will be short-terminated at Podanur on Oct 20 and from Oct 31 to Nov 15.
No 16721 Coimbatore – Madurai Express will depart from Podanur on Oct. 20. It will be departing from Coimbatore during the rest of the days of maintenance work.
No 22630 Tirunelveli – Dadar Express train will be operated on the Irugur – Podanur section on Oct 19 instead of its usual route via Coimbatore. The train will be provided a halt at Podanur junction on that day.
