Man held for stabbing wife in Chennai

CHENNAI: Ayanavaram police arrested a 20-year-old man on the charges of attacking his wife with a knife for uploading videos on social media with other men.
According to police, the couple often fought over her uploading duet videos with other stranger men on social media.The man, identified as Solomon, 20, of NMK Street at Ayanavaram, got married to Easwari over a year ago.
The couple quarelled often as Easwari uploaded videos of her performing to songs with other men. Meanwhile, on Monday night, Solomon, who came home drunk, picked up an argument with Easwari.
In a fit of rage, Solomon stabbed her with a knife and fled from the spot. Neighbours who heard her scream, rushed Easwari to the Government Kilpauk Medical College (KMC) hospital for treatment.
Based on a complaint, the police nabbed Solomon from a hideout and arrested him on Tuesday. An inquiry is on. After conducting investigation, he was remanded in judicial custody on Tuesday night.
