Despite everything around us, there are always people who give us a gentle reminder on just how beautiful and kind the world is. When someone shows us their gentle traits, humble personality and integrity, it makes us believe that all is not yet lost.
Even if it's someone who is a complete stranger to us, their heart-touching stories act like a heater on a snowy day and make us feel warm. This story is something like that. An engineer had donated some money to a random person through UPI after he came across the man's crowd fund request.
A year later, a text popped up on his phone, alerting him that he had received money from somebody he didn't recognise. It was the same man who he had helped with the crowdfunding.
Kamal Singh, who works as an engineer at Thought Works, recently took to LinkedIn to share the heart-warming incident with the world. As per Singh's post, he had transferred Rs 201 to a man on July 7 in 2021 after he came across his crowd funding request on some social media platform.
Singh didn't think much of it and contributed to the funding. But almost 1.5 years later, he received his money back.
"Today I got surprised when I received 201 rupees with a random person on phone pay. On opening chat I saw I transferred money to this guy 1.5 years back as a small help after reading his crowd funding request on some social media platform," Singh wrote on LinkedIn, alongside a screenshot of his transaction.
Upon receiving the money, surprised Singh quizzed the man about his mother's health, to which he informed her that she was good and s
"She is good, my business is also going nice.. so I am returning all the money that I taken (took) from everyone at that time," the man, identified as DK on the chat, replied.
Going by the man's reply, it seems like he is reaching out to everyone who helped him out in the time of need and is returning the cash he collected through crowdfunding.
"In the world of money minded people I’m surprised by his honesty," Singh added.
Well, if the story is true and the man indeed is doing the good deed, we wish him all the luck and success in the world. More power to you, DK!
