Free service at Kore hosp to mark chairman’s b’day

Belagavi: The KLE Society will celebrate the 75th birthday of its chainrman Dr Prabhakar Kore with free treatments at the group’s hospital.
A grand celebration is also planned on October 15.
At the KLES Dr Prabhakar Kore Hospital in Belagavi, free check-ups, consultancies and tests are on offer for patients from Monday onwards.
The service will continue throughout October.
The free services are: investigations that include blood sugar test, CBC, cholesterol, urine routine and creatinine, consultation and check-ups for all basic and super specialties. 100 Covid-19 vaccines every day, ECHO and ECG screening, audiometry, fundoscopy, Unflowmetry and USG, bone density test, ultrasound and pap smear test for cervical cancer, screenings for diabetes, cancers, Hepatitis B and pulmonary function test.
Dr MV Jali, the MD and CEO of the hospital, has urged people in and around Belagavi to take advantage of the benefits.
Union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant, Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai and other heavyweight leaders from Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa have been invited to Kore’s birthday celebrations on October 15.
