Thane: Woman charged with killing of kid acquitted

KALYAN: The sessions court acquitted a Kalyan woman accused of killing her newborn child, giving her the benefit of doubt.
Additional sessions judge Shaukat Gorwade recently passed an order, available on Monday, which held that the prosecution failed to prove the charge against the woman under IPC Section 302 (murder). Vaishali Pradhan, who already had two daughters, delivered a baby girl on April 15, 2018.
