IIIT-A & GBPSSI sign MoU

Prayagraj: Fresh entrants of BTech at IIIT-A can now pursue studies related to social sciences and that too from Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute (GBPSSI), Jhunsi. This follows signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between IIIT-A and GBPSSI. MoU facilitate Flexible Academic Programme (FAP) launched by IIIT-A as part of new National Education Policy. GBPSSI will contribute to IIITA’s FAP from current academic year, allowing admission in IT and electronics and communication engineering streams through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) programme of BTech. “At IIIT-A, the FAP framework allows entry into BTech via JoSAA and earning up to PhD degree with availability of multiple exit options. After availing an exit option, it also allows re-entry from the point of exit in future”, said public relation officer (PRO), IIIT-A, Pankaj Mishra. tnn
