Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Monday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Rishi Techtex(12.5%), Prajay Engg(12.26%), Ltd.(11.47%), The Mandhana Retail(11.28%), Atul Auto(10.51%), Artefact Proj(10.43%), (10.27%), .(10.0%) and Ltd.(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 709.84 points down at 57481.45, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 216.6 points to 17098.05.
In the Nifty 50 index, 3 stocks traded in the green, while 47 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as , , Markolines Traffic Controls Ltd., Gretex Corporate Services Ltd. and Ritesh Prop hit their fresh 52-week high, while , GKP Printing & Pack, , and touched their new 52-week low in trade.
