Nashik: Car worth 5.7 lakh stolen in Satpur

NASHIK: A car worth Rs 5.7 lakh stolen in Satpur area of the city between Wednesday and Thursday.
According to the complaint lodged with Satpur police station, the car was parked outside its owner’s house. Police have registered an FIR for offence punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code against an unidentified suspect.
The complainant is a resident of Suyog Colony in Kale Nagar. “The complainant had parked his car outside his house at around 10.45 pm on Wednesday. The next day when he went outside , at around 9.45 am, the car was not there. After checking with his family members and friends about the car, the owner registered a complaint with the police,” a police officer said, adding that the case is being investigated.
