LARNACA, CYPRUS - Cyprus Airways announced today a limited series of extra flights to/from Athens between the 27th and 30th October. The flights are available on sale from the airline’s website and travel agents.
The popular weekend starting on the 28th October provided the ideal opportunity for the airline to add capacity at short notice to serve its customers wishing to travel to and from Cyprus. Demand for the weekend was strong, both for incoming and outgoing traffic, and the airline reacted by offering two extra return flights during the popular weekend.
The additional flights will operate on the 27th and 30th of October allowing customers to travel outbound via Athens but also, more importantly, will help tourists to reach Cyprus over this key holiday period.
Cyprus Airways, Cyprus’s flag-carrier, resumed operations in 2016. The airline operates an Airbus A319 and two Airbus A320 aircraft fleet which are currently operating on a seven-scheduled destination network to Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Beirut, Tel Aviv, Yerevan and Rhodes.
