BAMS doctor held for giving fake bomb information

PRAYAGRAJ: Civil Lines police on Sunday claimed to have detained a BAMS doctor identified as Prasoon, a resident of Dhoomanganj on the charges of giving fake bomb information at Indira Bhawan on October 7.
Inspector (Civil Lines) Virendra Yadav told TOI, “The accused had completed his BAMS in 2007 and met a road mishap in 2017 following which he had sustained serious head injuries.
Inspector also added that the mental condition of the accused was not well.
He, however, said that police have challaned him on the charges of giving fake information. Family members of accused told police that treatment of Prasoon is still going on at a hospital in the city. The accused had passed fake information about presence of bomb at Indira Bhawan following which a massive checking was conducted at all floors of business complex including basement.
