The NSE Nifty index traded 56.4 points down at 17275.4, while BSE Sensex was down 193.6 points at 58028.5 as of 10:29AM(IST)on October 07.
In the Nifty index, .(up 4.30 per cent), .(up 1.70 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 1.51 per cent), .(up 1.42 per cent) and .(up 0.77 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 1.55 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), State Bank of India(down 1.39 per cent), .(down 1.32 per cent) and .(down 1.30 per cent) were among the top losers.
