Karnataka: Kite-flying on building terrace proves fatal for Belagavi boy

BELAGAVI: An 11-year-old boy, who had fallen from the terrace of a building while flying a kite on Wednesday, died in a hospital on Thursday.
Arman Dafedar, a resident of Tiranga Colony in Ujwal Nagar, died in the incident at Ashok Nagar here. The incident sent shockwaves in the neighbourhood.
According to sources, Arman and his famiy had come to a relative’s house at Ashok Nagar on Wednesday.
In the evening, Arman and his brother went to the terrace to fly the kite. But Arman lost his balance and fell to the ground, after which he was taken to a hospital.
A case has been registered at Malmaruti police station.
