Overall, 16 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, , UPL, , and were among top gainers, while , , M&M, and SBI traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 93.1 points down at 58129.0 at 10:09AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Gems and Jewellery, Telecommunications, Sugar, Holding Company and Textiles sectors, while selling was visible in NBFC, IT Enabled Services, Miscellaneous, Term Lending Institutions and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors.
