These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Everest Ind(13.86%), JSW Energy(12.79%), Greenlam Ind(11.06%), HEG(10.91%), Indian Terrain(10.55%), P G Industry(10.2%), PurshottamInvst(10.0%), ASM Tech(10.0%) and Ltd.(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex ended 156.63 points up at 58222.1, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 57.5 points up at 17331.8.
In the Nifty 50 index, 28 stocks ended in the green, while 22 stocks closed in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as , , Venus Pipes & ., and Intnl Travel hit their fresh 52-week high, while , , , Gala Global Prod and touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
