Synopsis

King Charles III's nickname for his daughter-in-law Meghan Markle demonstrates how much he previously admired her.

Agencies
In her book "The New Royals", royal analyst Katie Nicholl revealed that the British King Charles III referred to the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle as "Tungsten", a strong steel-gray metal of the third transition series with the highest melting point of all metallic elements.

According to Nicholl, King Charles III reportedly dubbed his prospective daughter-in-law 'Tungsten' because of her toughness and perseverance. Nicholl notes that Markle's title was supposedly formed after the 'Suits' alum showed perseverance during her and Prince Harry's 2018 appearance at the Royal Foundation Forum alongside Prince William and Kate Middleton.

According to one adviser, the Cambridges had already announced their determination to be more than decorative royals and had made a tremendous success of their mental health initiative Heads Together, the moment William and Kate, who were significantly pregnant, understood they needed to lift their game.

She went on, but Meghan was the foursome's breakthrough star. She was polished, passionate, and hilarious, and she used all of her TV experience to argue her point.

The Royal Box

This year's Wimbledon Championship turned into a royal affair as the duchesses and princes made it for the 15-day event.

Other than the royalty, the family members of the tennis players also showed support for their better-halves during the matches.

Here's a look at the people who made it to the court stand.

According to a source, there was a wake-up call for William and Kate when they discovered Meghan was very impressive, confident, and capable.

While King Charles III, 73, may have used the word four years ago, it's unknown whether he still refers to Markle, 41, as 'Tungsten' since she and Harry, 38, retired from their royal responsibilities in 2020 and relocated to California with their two children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.
