Six-foot-long croc rescued
Vadodara: A six-foot-long crocodile was rescued from a village in Dabhoi on Wednesday. Locals said that the reptile had been staying in a lake in Palashwala village and hunting domestic animals. It recently preyed on a goat that was grazing near the lake following which the villagers informed Gujarat Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA). They feared that the reptile may attack villagers who frequent the lake. The GSPCA volunteers set a trap near the lake and rescued the reptile from the spot. It has been handed over to the forest department.tnn
