Haryana: 12 booked for thrashing man to death in Nuh

GURUGRAM: Twelve people have been booked for allegedly beating a man to death in Ainchwadi village of Nuh's Punhana on Tuesday. Mubeen (40) was a resident of the same village.
According to his brother, who is the complainant in the case, when a tractor carrying mined stones came rushing towards his house, Mubeen asked the driver to slow down, which sparked an argument between the men on the tractor trolley and him.
The argument escalated into a fight and the group of men attacked Mubeen.
"The men were involved in a murder case in 2008. On Tuesday, when my brother asked the driver of speeding trolley to slow down, they started arguing and attacked him with stones, iron rods and sticks," said Zakir.
He said Mubeen was hit with an iron road on the head and stones were thrown at him. The complainant said the men kept thrashing him till he died on the road.
"When I heard my brother crying in pain, I came out. He was in a pool of blood and was dead," alleged Zakir.
An FIR has been registered against the men under IPC sections 148 (rioting armed with deadly weapon), 149 (unlawful assembly), 302 (murder) at Punhana police station.
No arrests haS been made as the accused are absconding. Police said the investigation was underway.
