The NSE Nifty index traded 138.35 points up at 17412.65, while BSE Sensex was up 433.62 points at 58499.09 as of 10:19AM(IST)on October 06.
In the Nifty index, .(up 3.53 per cent), .(up 3.41 per cent), .(up 3.02 per cent), .(up 2.37 per cent) and .(up 2.17 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, .(down 0.92 per cent), .(down 0.85 per cent), .(down 0.81 per cent), .(down 0.77 per cent) and .(down 0.66 per cent) were among the top losers.
