Uddhav Thackeray in today's Dussehra rally launched attack Shinde camp and tagged the faction as new Ravana, Katappa who betrayed party.
Highlights of his speech:
I allied with Congress and NCP to teach a lesson to BJP which backstabbed me
You talk abput 'Gai' (cow); talk about 'Maha-Gai' (inflation)
Party, whose leader went to Pakistan, met Nawaj Sharif, cant teach Hindutva to Sena
The Shiv Sena faction led by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has organised its rally at the MMRDA ground in BKC located in suburban Bandra, while the former CM Uddhav Thackeray-headed group of the party is holding its Dussehra event at Shivaji Park in Dadar in central Mumbai.
Both the camps have claimed they are taking forward the ideals of Bal Thackeray, who was known to make fiery speeches at the Dussehra rallies at Shivaji Park year after year till his death in 2012. Since then, his son Uddhav Thackeray, a former CM who lost power in June following rebellion by his once trusted aide Shinde, had been addressing the annual event.
