Agencies
James Bond Producer Michael G. Wilson has ruled out the names of top Hollywood A-listers for the iconic character. Speaking to The Sun, Wilson said that the next Bond must be someone in their 30s, which indicates that the top contenders for the role are Tom Hiddleston (41), Idris Elba (50), and Tom Hardy (45).

Daniel Craig retired as the legendary MI6 agent with his last James Bond movie, No Time to Die (2021). The 54-year-old Craig was arguably the best Bond ever, and filling his shoes is going to be a monumental task for the next chosen actor. Craig joined the franchise in 2006 with Casino Royale and subsequently starred in Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015), and No Time to Die (2021).

Following Craig’s exit, Idris Elba was highly touted to become the next James Bond, and the veteran actor was also rumoured to have held talks with the producers of the franchise. However, Wilson’s recent comments clearly indicate that Elba is out of the race.

On his 54th birthday, here are some things every Daniel Craig fan must know.

Interestingly, the "someone in their 30s" remark opens the door for interesting prospects like Richard Madden (36) and Superman himself, Henry Cavill (39). However, it is too early to predict any names as of now.
